At The Dogfather Forest School, I provide structured, adventure-based outdoor experiences in natural environments, suitable for dogs of all ages.
This is not a traditional hourly dog walking service. Dogs spend extended periods outdoors as part of a carefully managed forest school experience, giving them the time and space to explore, socialise appropriately, build confidence, rest, and engage naturally with their surroundings.
Over many years of working with dogs, I have found that some of the greatest benefits come when dogs are not rushed from one walk to the next. Extended time in nature allows them to settle into the environment, make choices, learn self-regulation, and enjoy a richer level of physical and mental enrichment than is often possible during a conventional walk.
Every session is personally led by me, ensuring consistency, trust, and individual attention for every dog. Activities take place across varied terrain and natural features, encouraging movement, confidence, problem-solving, and engagement with the environment.
